Amrita's Mother
Proverbs 11:16 "A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches." Proverbs 4:18 "The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day."
This is such a moving picture. The young man leading the elderly woman to church. How seldom we see a similar sight. "Honor the gray hair," our Bible tells us. Now many elderly are hidden and forgotten. The children are adored and overwhelmed with things and attention. We should never forget how much we owe the elder generation. They have built the country with hard labor and great sacrifices. From Felisol
Dear Felisol You are so right! We should all realize that the treasures of our countries is the young people and the elderly and we must protect nurture the young ones and protect and respect the aged! I was so moved by this picture of Amrita's mama. Amrita is a care giver of not only her mother but of so many of her aunties and so many of her younger relatives. She is GOLD!!....Love Terry
