Felisol's Dad Arne Ljung

Arne Ljung born January 27th 1921

This fine looking Christian gentleman is our Felisol's father.
This picture was taken two years ago by Gunnar on Dad Ljung's birthday.
His name "Arne" means, "Eagle".
Felisol has a lovely poem on her blog which her dad loved.
I have found a nice recitation of it on You Tube.
Blessings to the Ljung family and our prayers are always with you.
We will all see Dad Ljung again.
What a promise from the Lord Himself!

Dad Ljung went home to be with the Lord Jesus June 1 2007.

Revelation 14:13
"And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."

Oh, Terry, dearest,
How did you find my Dad's poem?
You are the dearest ever.
I woke up early this morning, a bit "blue".
Went to my computer and there was the best of greetings from my best of blog friends.
You sure shine a light into my day.
Thank you.
From Felisol

Oh Felisol
I just woke up and got to thinking that I hadn't labeled the post, so I quickly came to Pilgrim Pals and there you were!
I am so happy that you like it and I hope that your blueness will go away.
Mine has and it is all because of all my dear friends' prayers
Love Terry

PS...I told you I would be right back, but when I pick something from You Tube, it is the same as when I am buying a card. I take so much time picking just the right one. I think that Dad Ljung would have liked this one!

Amen to that. May thelord use Dad Ljung memory and his footprints to guide many others to fight the fight of faith.

Terry, it's so sweet of you to post this for our dear Felisol.

Felisol, this post is rather sentimental for me, too, in that my own father's birthday is Dec. 31. Praying for you this week as you remember your dear father. There is always an "ache" in our hearts for the loved ones we miss.

But I am thinking, there is going to be such a lovely reunion in heaven one day. I can't even fathom it...first, to see the face of our Lord, then all His saints!

Sending hugs,
Vicki
