Hi from LPP!

Hi Pals!

I am so sorry I have been absent from Pals for ages...you probably forgot all about me and my family, right?! Just teasing... Well, I haven't forgotten any of you and keep all of you in prayer.

Today was a special day in many ways for me...I got to cover an event I have been looking forward to since April...I got to interview hockey greats I have only dreamed of meeting (and they were so easy to interview and so kind to a beginning journalist like me!)...

and guess who my brother and sister and I got to meet there at this event?

Pilgrim Fisher himself!!! Yes, we had the priviledge of meeting David Fisher, and what a special person he is! I was just picking up my ticket when I turned around and saw him standing a few feet behind me at the silent auction table. I turned to PrayingSensFan aka Little Montreal Girl and said, "Look! There's Mr. Fisher...I think!" In a few minutes we made our way, and sure enough it was him! And would you believe it, he even paid for my ticket (sorry, Mr. Fisher, I just had to mention that! It meant a lot to me!). Oh, and the event? The HMI All-Star Breakfast in Montreal! Wow, was it ever a great event. I'll have a story up on my aunt's website next week, Lord willing...her website has been having a lot of problems lately that she's trying to iron out.

Okay, I have to run...I have been so busy lately with writing (right now for three different publications!) and last week I was named co-ordinator and contact person for an upcoming movie night at our church (we're showing Fireproof on Valentine's Eve!).

I do miss y'all on Pals...by the way, where is everyone???

Love and Prayers,
LPP, who is very grateful for God's unchanging faithfulness and unwaivering love!

Dear Little Pilgrim Pal,
I am here. Also tumbling with this and that and never really taking responsibility for my share of writing.
I am a follower of the site, though, and every time someone makes posts a
post, I'm warned and check in.

I am so happy to learn about how well your life has turned out.
You have been a true prayer warrior and now the prayers are being answered.

This Sunday I'll particularly mention our friend Terry, who recently got a chronic progressing illness diagnosis.
Let us hold her up in prayer. She is a burning soul and has never ever forgotten any of us.
Now she's in need of strength to cope with the possibility of a heart surgery and also her malfunctioning muscles.

I pray you Lord, take your faithful servant Terry in your almighty hands, protect her from depression, exhaustion, heal her weakening muscles and shine your light of joy and peace in her life this very Sunday.
Amen.

Hi Mrs. Ljung!

I miss writing you on your blog...I miss reading your blog, too! I just don't have time nowadays for blog-scotching like I used to! But I think of you nearly every Wednesday and sometimes Sunday...and you'd never guess why...the leader of our Bible study (we meet on Wed. nights, and he is and his wife are like parents to me) loves playing the guitar, and sometimes he plays Bob Dylan songs...and who introduced me to Dylan songs?? YOU! :) So that is why I think of you so often--good thoughts, too! :)

Love and Prayers,
LPP

OOPS! I forgot...I promised to change my picture in 2009...here is a bright, cheery pic with my favorite color, AND taken on one of my best, most exciting days of 2008...though I won't say why right now, but I promise, one day I will share!

Love and Prayers,
LPP

Dear Little Pilgrim Pal,
I am thinking of you sisters often.
I'm happy that your carrier has been so good for you, that things have changed in an easier direction after your year in that long, black tunnel.
Jesus has not left you fatherless, that's for sure.
be blessed.
