Psalm 50:15And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
My daughter is in need of prayer.
A great injustice has been done against her. She is also severely ill from pollen allergy.
Please pray the Lord heal her, strengthen her, give her courage and deliver her from this injustice.
Yours Felisol

Spanish Lessons
Hi everyone, sorry it's been so long. I've been doing pretty well these days. During this past winter I decided it was time to take private Spanish speaking lessons since I always seem to be going on mission to a Latin American country. So, I did a google search for a teacher in my area and randomly picked one of the female instructors out of dozens of names. This seemed risky...afterall there are lots of "kooks" out there. However, I prayed for God's direction. Last Thursday I went for my first lesson. As I drove to her home I realized I hadn't told any friends about this....what she was some crazy person? No one would no where I disappeared too (okay, I watch too much CSI and Law & Order). Anway, I prayed for God's protection. Turns out my instructor is really nice....and get this....she is a Believer!! What are the chances that I would "randomly" pick a teacher who follows the Lord Jesus! That could only be arranged by God!
Please pray that I get a better grasp of the Spanish language so I can serve more effectively on the mission field God sends me too in the future!

Happy Resurrection Sunday from LPP!
Hey, all!
I am so sorry I have not been around here! I have felt so bad...so far removed...so distant...but I have been really busy at home and with work and I do remember all of you in prayer daily!
He is Risen Indeed! What a beautiful Resurrection Sunday it was here in Montreal...the sun was shining...and my sister and I were baptized at our church! It was amazing! We have such amazing supportive friends there who are like family to us...we are just so blessed! I am bursting to tell everyone about my exciting time today, so I thought I'd share this with my dear Pals. My grandparents were there (a first for my grandma and she even said she would be back!), my dad's cousin was there, and so many people hugged my sister and I that I lost count and there were so many strangers that were in church that congratulated me--they all made us feel so special! Which really meant a lot because I was soooo nervous last night I couldn't fall alseep :( LOL! My pastor gave us each a beautiful leather study Bible with our name on it, too! But most importantly, I pray that people there were touched by the six testimonies shared by the Believers being baptized. I shared John 3:1-21 by memory and messed up on one verse and said it a little too fast, but all I could think of was that I was taking too long to say it and there were 4 more waiting to be baptized ;)
We are going south next Sunday for almost two weeks...please pray that we travel safely!
Love and Prayers to all of you,
LPP

For God So Loved
Dear Pals:
Last night (Good Friday) I attended a concert in Kitchener, Ontario where the Triumphant Quartet was featured. This is one of my favourite Southern Gospel groups and they always minister to my spirit in a powerful way.
They didn't sing the song on this You Tube video but I've played this selection over and over again since buying the CD last night.
Why did Jesus Christ allow cruel hands to nail His sinless body to that old rugged cross? It was because of His great love for you and me.
Listen as David Sutton of Triumphant Quartet sings For God So Loved.

good friday
1. Jesus, Lord, I’m never weary
Looking on Thy Cross and shame;
Gazing there I seem so near Thee,
Dear to me each throb of pain.
:Ever near Thee,:
Ling’ring here I would remain.
2. Little cared I for the anguish
Of Thy bitter, bitter cry;
Left alone, Lord, there to languish,
None to share Thy parting sigh,
:All forsaken! :
Left alone, O Lord, to die.
3. Jesus, Saviour, I have found Thee
All my utmost need required;
In Thyself, Lord, Thou hast found me
All Thy loving heart desired.
:I would praise Thee :
From my soul by love inspired.
4. All my sins were laid upon Thee,
All my guilt was on Thee laid,
And the blood of Thine atonement
All my utmost debt has paid.
:Gracious Saviour, :
I believe, for Thou has said.
5.
Thine almighty arms are round me,
And my head is on Thy breast,
For my weary soul has found Thee
Such a perfect, perfect rest.
: Gracious Saviour, :
Now I know that I am blest.
blessed good friday pals....love terry and bernie

on our way home
it is something the way that people can change their minds.
i read a most interesting post over at amrita'a and it really made me think of a person who did change his mind for the good.
please go to amrita's and read her post about many people who changed their minds and hearts for the worst. http://yesugarden.blogspot.com/2009/04/sunday-blessings-that-s-my-king.html
one mind that was changed during the crucifixion was the mind and heart of one of the thieves who was being crucified on the other side of jesus.
twice we read in the new testament how both of the thieves reviled the lord jesus and cast insults into his teeth, but how lovely it is to read where the one thief repented just in time!!
what a forgiving lord we have!!
Matthew 27:44
The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
Mark 15:32
Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
and here is the thief's profession of faith
Luke 23: 39-43
39And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
40But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
John 6:37
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
i can apply these words to myself.
"Why was I made to hear His voice,
And enter while there's room;
When thousands make a wretched choice,
And rather starve than come?
"'Twas the same love that spread the feast,
That sweetly forced me in;
Else I had still refused to taste,
And perish'd in my sin."
this was such a great thought provoking post amrita....what a blessed people we are....we changed our minds about jesus and came to him, and now we are pilgrims on our way to heaven and home......love terry

Bless You, Bionic Woman!
thank you for your prayers
dearest pilgrim pals.
i am ever so grateful for all of the prayers that you sent for me to the lord.
yes felisol, we got home about ten last night and donna is right, the operation went really well. it did take a little longer because the doctor had to make longer leads and he really had to fit them in.
yuk...hurt, pain, and agony, but no fear.
the trip home from the hospital wasn't so bad and when i got home i laid down right away and slept the whole night.
right now i am still a little tired and in pain but this will all pass.
i am just so happy to see that pilgrim david.
i have to be careful using my left hand too much ,that is why all the small letters.
thank you so much everybody......love terry
