For God So Loved

Dear Pals:

Last night (Good Friday) I attended a concert in Kitchener, Ontario where the Triumphant Quartet was featured. This is one of my favourite Southern Gospel groups and they always minister to my spirit in a powerful way.

They didn't sing the song on this You Tube video but I've played this selection over and over again since buying the CD last night.

Why did Jesus Christ allow cruel hands to nail His sinless body to that old rugged cross? It was because of His great love for you and me.

Listen as David Sutton of Triumphant Quartet sings For God So Loved.

- David

HAPPY EASTER, dear Pals!

Thank you, Pilgrim David for sharing your spiritual and artistic experience.
I'm sitting alone in the middle of the night and can barely understand God's great gift to us, while we still were sinners.
It's too high.
Nevertheless I need this love and forgiveness, so I accept it as an amazing grace.
He shall grow and I shall diminish.
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Hath broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, of that free love
The breadth, length, depth, and height to prove,
Here for a season, then above,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Easter morning greetings from Felisol
