The Pilgrim's Progress

Yesterday we received the keys for our "new to us" home (pictured in the winter) and began moving van loads of boxes to the new location.

Today was more of the same. Tonight Victoria, our granddaughter, and I rewarded ourselves for all our hard work by relaxing in the outdoor hot tub.

The new house is smaller with only a fraction of the acreage but there are a few perks like an inground pool and the hot tub.

Tomorrow we'll load up the van a few more times. Friday and Saturday will be moving days for the big stuff, the furniture.

Thanks for your prayers as we make this transition. It isn't easy but we are trusting God to give us the strength we need. THANK YOU!

Dear Pilgrim David,
moving is hard work, and it's really harder, when you not even are particulate motivated for the job.
I saw the photos of the home you had to leave, much work and much love invested in that propriety.
It does not help you if I say I cannot even dream of having a home with a pool and a hot tub.
You had a perfect landscape with even a bubbling broke.

Now, you got alive out of your long-term crises and with God's help (which we are praying for) you'll manage the moving job as well. I hope He's sending you some strong male angles to lend a hand.

I somehow imagine it must be even harder for your wife. We are the nestmakers, you are the providers.
HE loves us and cares for us even more than the beautiful lilies on the field.

Be by high spirit, dear Pilgrim Father, so far neither of us have been let down.
It's not going to happen either.
Hugs from Felisol

Dear Mr. Fisher,

I guess we all thought the same thing....wow, a pool and a hot tub! although my siblings can tell you I prefer swimming in the Ottawa river at Fitzroy ;) Just taht the water is a wee bit cold in September when we go there!!

I hope your family and the cats make a smooth and peaceful transition...I am praying for you!

If you will please keep my family in prayer: I am not allowed to say what the news is, but it is very dark and grim...we had a very hard time as a family this evening as my dad shared it with the younger ones. Each day is a blessing that we are still alive and together. I'm sure you'll be able to read between those lines. I'll write more when I can.

Love and Prayers,
LPP

Hey Little Pilgrim Pal
I got your letter over at my blog.
Just give me a shout on one of the older post OK?. That way I can write to you.
I am sure that none of the Pals has forgotten you. It just seems like a real busy time these days!..Love Mrs. Shirkie

Oh by the way I would just email Donna and let her know where you are at on my blog because she would like to write to you too...

Hey David...This new "little house" that you have would easily fit five or six houses the same size as ours!!!
