Dear Pilgrims........I received a phone call from David a while ago and have just now come to tell you that he is in a very sad state. He sounded so tired and discouraged. This week and last have been very hard on him and Carol.They have got so much stuff to unpack. When they have gotten everything out of the old house, then David said he would be cutting the grass there and Carol would be cleaning so the house will be spotless for the new owners.
David did not want me to mention this but he is having financial problems too. We must really pray that the Lord will see him and Carol through this.
David has always been around for all of us and we all so appreciate him.
I just hope that everything will get settled soon and that we will have Pilgrim David back in a happier state.....
PS Please remember Little Pilgrim Pal and Little Montreal Girl in the great sadness that they are going through.
Our pilgrims pals need our prayers..we all surely do!

Dear Pilgrim Father,
I sat down and asked for a word to cheer you up with, and got the same psalm as yesterday, only different verses:
Psalm 37
1Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
3Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Now I know you have committed your way unto the Lord, so please, wait for him to answer. I guess when you look back, He already has carried you, and He will continue to do so. Take one step and one hour at a time. Things will turn out even better than before.
That's not me saying this, it's the Scripture. You know it.

Dear Pilgrim David,
My heart truly goes out to you - those are not just words David because I can relate to going through such darkness and pain - including financial stuggles. It can be so scary to have to totally rely on God! The Lord is with you in this "furnance" David. Remember you must spend time with the Lord no matter how hard it is to pray and sit with Him. It comes so easy in the times of joy but not so easy when we feel God is not with us.
I will be spending some quality time with the Lord today - and you will be lifted in my prayers.

Dear Little Missionary Julie, What a great example from the Bible about the Lord's being in the furnace with his children...with David and with you and how it matches up with the verses that Felisol has sent to David even from the others side of the world.
David, I hope that things are getting better today as so they should, with such prayers going up to the Lord on your behalf. I got an email from Mr. Jim and Jel and they are praying for you too dear brother.....Love Terry

Just checking in to remind you of my prayers, even though I don't comment every day. It sounds like a very exhausting task, to move and relocate. Each time my own family has gone through this, it wore me out. Wish I could come up there and help unpack or help with the cleaning!
Lord, you know how desperate the need is, but we know that nothing is too hard for you...so we ask that every need be met through your mercy and love for David & Carol. Refresh their hearts, renew their strength, provide their finances. Also we remember LPP and her family during this very difficult time - pour out your grace, and let your presence be very real to them in this hour.
