Pilgrim Pals are Blessed

Wow! I've been so touched reading all the comments and outreach to LPP and her family. This is what being in Jesus' family is all about! We are blessed to support each other. Nobody judges, we just pray and encourage one another. It's just beautiful. I'm so glad Donna and Paul could go support LPP and her family at this difficult time. What a wonderful surprise!!

I'm moving Friday so I may be out of commission for a few days with unpacking and settling to my new place. The deal was officially closed today and I pick up the keys tomorrow. I can hardly believe I own.....uhmmmm....a mortgage :)

I'll be going to stay with my dad for a couple days next week and visit my mom who is still in the hospital. This is her 3rd stay in the hospital in about two months - it's so frustrating. She seems to be getting worse - not better.

Last night I couldn't get to sleep so I worked on my cover letter and resume for the job I mentioned a few days ago. Finally at 3:30 a.m. I was satisfied and sent it.

Well, I better get to bed....and try and sleep. Thank you all for praying for my needs. God bless you!

Hi Little Missionary Julie..
Just popping in here to let you know that I am thinking about your mom and all that she is going through.
Just keep being a good daughter to her. Then when you move into your brand new home, you and Alfie F will be able to have her over for a great meal. How good does THAT sound.?!
When Betty and I lived in Ottawa, Betty used to work at the Ottawa Civic & St Vincent's Hosp and I worked at the Pearly.
Is your Mom in one of these hospitals?

I will be thinking of you and I just bet that David will be too when you are moving all of your stuff.
Just hang that Alfie F in a cage on the ceiling somewhere and then he will not get lost in all of the commotion!
God bless you and we are still praying that you get that good job!...Love Terry

Dear Julie LBM,
still praying for you to get the job, where you can be giving what surplus of Christian compassion and care you are so richly blessed with.
God for sure know exactly where he needs you.
The hard bit is the waiting.
Feel safe in his hands, he knows just what you need and where he wants you to be.
From Felisol

Hi Terry, my mom and dad live in the Ottawa Valley, so mom is in a hospital up there - about 1.5 hours from Ottawa. That's why this has been hard, I can't visit her often and she can't come and see my new place until she gains a lot more strength.

How is your mom?

I'll be sure and keep an eye on Alfie so he doesn't get lost tomorrow! :)

Blessings.
Julie

Julie,

I am very happy for you....and will be praying for you as you make this move...

actually as I was enjoying my three o'clock.middle of the night ride to the border the other night, I thought about you, your job situation and this move you are making...

and I rolled down my windows, opened up the sunroof and put a CD in....and just let the music from my car reach to the heavens...The song playing was How Great Thou Art....my all time favorite

anyways I like to play my music really loud (I have blown my front speakers three times...makes my husband crazy!)and I was just singing and praising God for all He makes possible for us....

and so as you are maneuvering through the next few days, keep singing and praising and thanking the Lord for how Great He is...

and enjoy the ride..

love and hugs
donna
