So nice Saija!! Reminds me of what I was telling Felisol last week. I told her about what David Ring, who has cerebal palsey said..."God never says "Oops!" Later on I was listening to him on a Bill Gaither video and he was really good then..In his shaky voice he said that he was still in the oven and when he arrives to heaven, God will take him out of the oven and say..."Well done!!" What an attitude, eh Saija? The guy had no blame toward God at all for his crippling disease....
I am so glad that you posted this!! Blessings on you and Leo...Love Terry
You can see what David Ring sounds like and read his site at davidring.org Well worth checking him out.. He us a genuine man of God..
Dear Pilgrims, I looked David Ring up on the internet, and was even more amazed than Terry said I would be. What a man, what victories he's had in God. "I,m not OK, but that's OK, because GOD's OK." I love the chapter 8 in letter to the Romans. Every verse is full full of comfort and promises of victory. Therefor I dear share with you: Romans 8 "28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."
Bill Gaither knew nothing about David Ring until one time he couldn't sleep and getting up he turned on the TV, where he saw and heard David Ring, for the first time. He was intrigued by him that he looked him up and invited him a few times as a guest on his "Bill Gaither And Friends" video. What a blessing THAT was and David sang his all time favourite song... "Victory In Jesus".. Not a dry eye in the place!.....Love Terry
Oh it is the middle of the night here in Southern Ontario Felisol but I have half a mind to look up that David Ring again...
