a prayer request
would you please pray for my sister "maria" ... she is 42 years old and in acute renal failure (plus other complications) ... i was just visiting her at the hospital, in the city, yesterday ... it saddens my heart to see her like this ... she is uncomfortable and in pain ... would you please pray with me that the Lord gives her body comfort and her spirit strength? thank you ...i reposted my story about her - written a year ago ... ... thank you for your prayer ....

I did a quick post on my blog this a.m.) ... so i have been off line due to time & life "stuff" over here ...blessings on all the pilgrim pals ......Saija

"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."2 Corinthians 1:2-4 ...Saija

Thank You Little Montreal Girl for this information...

thank you pals, who put this prayer request together ... i so appreciate it ...

i just keep asking the Lord to make her comfortable ... she is in a horrible amount of pain ... and discomfort at every move ...

i sometimes feel guilty for my own good health, when so many others around me don't have it ...

thank you again for your care & your prayers ...

Dearest Saija...we pray that God will be merciful and bring relief from her pain and discomfort. That He will sustain her and uphold her with a power that can only from from our Lord. That even in her pain...she will know more fully His great love and faithfulness to her.

Blessings dear one...Susan

Oh ((((Saija))) how difficult. I think that has been the most difficult thing for me with hubby, that being not being able to do anything to make it better. Oh, yes, I can pray, but I want to do so much more!

I am praying that your time with your sister will be some of the sweetest days spent with each. Memories which will be engraved on your heart forever. May the Lord give you strength and endurance as you seek to minister to your sister. And may He comfort her with His peace and may she be made comfortable. I am lifting you up before He who is able...
