Successful Evening

Last Thursday's "An Evening With the Petes" was deemed a success by all involved.

We SOLD OUT the Sky Box we rented (57 people) and had wonderful participation by the Peterborough Petes, Hockey Ministries International and all the invited guests.

The evening was designed primarily to increase awareness of Epistle Sports Ministries and Hockey Ministries International.

Here's a picture of me (the big guy) with Paul Allen (HMI Ontario) and Jeff Twohey (middle), the GM of the Peterborough Petes.

Thanks for all those who were praying!

Dear David...You are looking pretty fit in this picture but mind you, you better not overdo it or you will be sick again!
Love Terry

PS How goes the house?

Dear David Pilgrim Father,
Terry's right, you're looking swell,
and those buddies by your side sure must be a good support.
I'm happy that all went well so far.
Now, if you can remember to hurry slowly, we'll be there for you praying.

Dearest Pilgrim,

You look great! I am sooo glad to hear all went well!

Thank you for writing me back on my note. I really treasure those notes back :) I won't tell anyone who Matt was cheering for, except my sister, okay ;)

Does HMI send you to their All-Star Breakfast? My aunt's Christian website that I work on has a section for events, and I added the breakfast as a premium event for free with my coupon...hope they get a lot of calls from there :)

I thought of you yesterday as I unpacked a bookcase in order to move it over and fit another one next to it --this house is BURSTING with books-- and moving those books reminded me of you, so I prayed for you and your family. May the Lord strengthen you and give you wisdom for each day.

Love and Prayers,
LPP
