For Little Missionary Julie

Julie
This should probably be taped
to your bathroom mirror
where one could read it every day.
You may not realize it,
but it's 100% true..

1. There are at least two people in this world
that you would die for.

2. At least 15 people in this world
love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you
is because they want to
be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone,
even if they don't
like you.

5. Every night,
SOMEONE thinks about you
before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. You are special and unique.

8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever,
something good comes from it.

10. Always remember the compliments you received.
Forget about the rude remarks.

Good friends are like stars........
You don't always see them,
But you know they are always there.

I would rather have one rose and a kind word
from a friend while I'm here
than a whole truck load when I'm gone
.

Julie, our Little Missionary:

A hearty AMEN to all of those points. You are very special to more people than you realize.

There isn't one PILGRIM PAL who doesn't wish he or she could instantly be at your side each time you struggle. We all love you and cherish your friendship.

Hopefully we will meet this side of heaven but, if not, there will be a grand gathering of Pilgrim Pals in glory and we'll all be thanking each other for:

PRAYING
AFFIRMING
LOVING and
SERVING

That's what the PILGRIM PALS are all about.

Next time you look in the mirror, please remember that YOU ARE LOVED.

In His love,

David on behalf of all the Pals

Awww, that's so sweet - thanks just doesn't seem to say it all!!

David, if you are in Ottawa and have the time I would love to have a coffee with you. Just email and I'll give you my number.

And, go Detroit go....I just can't cheer for the Pens since they beat our Sens! :)

Oh, Mrs. Shirkie, this IS so sweet! I hope our Little Missionary always remembers how much we love her :)

Little Missionary,
I was wondering who the hockey fans amoung the pals are going for! I have two siblings going for Pittsburgh, one going for Detroit just to be different, and one being indifferent altogether and not caring WHO wins...which is a little like me. I hope Pittsburgh wins because then the Cup will come to my town, but it would be nice if Detriot's European captain becomes the first of his kind to win the Cup, too.

Love and Prayers to all the Pals,
LPP

Dear Julie, Little Big Missionary,
Have you ever thought about how you are a blessing to your fellow pilgrims by having the courage to come here wearing no mask at all.

Most people when hurt, hide like a turtle or (me)prick like a hedgehog.
It sure takes more guts to talk openly about one's wounds.
You do, and by that open the door for others to be frank about their pains too.
Jesus was not too proud to talk about his feelings. He got hurt when people he had given a lot did not bother to thank. He cried over his friend Lazarus. He was scared in Gethsemane, and he felt completely left as he hung on the cross and died a painful death for all of us. He felt abandoned, but he wasn't. God was there all along, as he is to day with all of us.
Even when we do not feel, we have to trust. Wait, not worry.
God bless your Lord's Day.
