Susan's Mom Passed Away

Dear Pals:

Each week I receive prayer requests from the church in southern California which our Pilgrim Pal Susan Bunts attends. Her former pastor, Chuck Obremski, was a good friend and colleague of mine before he succumbed to cancer several years ago. Here's an update I received today. Susan's mom passed away earlier in the week. Please lift up Susan and pray that she will experience God's
incredible peace during these days of mourning. Thanks so much! - David

Here's that update:

Emergency Prayer Requests...

tuesday

From PW Susan Bunts:

"Thank you for your faithful prayers for my mother Gayle who passed away Tuesday morning at 8:30 am. God answered your prayers by giving me a peace at this time. Please be in prayer for family and the nurses who cared for Gayle over the past six years. Please pray that God will oversee taking care of all the details following her death. Thank you! "

Dear Susan,
I am thankful that both your mother and you finally got rest.
You've gone a long and rocky road, I pray that there will be space for both sorrow and the living hope of a new meeting in Heaven for you.
You've had to fight and stride for so long, I hope you can give yourself time to rest and recover.
Your Mom could not have had a better or more devoted daughter.
I'll continue praying.

Dear Kindred spirit...I just emailed you before I read the update of David's and I said that I didn't know how you would be able to take it. I am glad that you have peace about it and now you want prayer for the family.
I just don't know how I would take a sad thing like this!
I think when I read about your mom on your blog different times, that the two of you seem like best friends.
Felisoll is right.
You were a devoted daughter!
Love Terry
