Pilot Mom is asking for prayer for her home as its so warm and unbearable for PD - so yes we will pray for her cooling system to work more efficiently or that the Lord will do something to allieviate triple digits ---I posted two comments on her site but thought I would share them here --- there is truth in these nuggets that we share --

praying that your home gets cooler - "bringing everything before HIM in WHOM we have to do with" I agree in that kind of praying Claire -- Lord Bless,BELIEVE THE IMPOSSIBLE

years ago in "guidepost" magazine , an article on a Christian policeman who had chased a burglar into a viaduct, policeman prayed and asked for HIS PROTECTION as he entered the dark viaduct - so many yards in he cornered the bad guy, dark and he was scared but said "come out with your hands up" the burglar had a gun and said OK , I'm coming out - he stepped out and turned around and let the policeman "cuff" him - at the station the policeman said to the bad guy, "how come U came out without a fight ? - Bad guy says , "U kidding ? - there were a dozen policemen behind U in uniforms" (angels) Thats what God allowed the bad guy to see ! This policeman was all alone in that viaduct --- so YES , CLAIRE , pray for the impossible

There's a really good one I read in Like a Mighty Wind by Mel Tari about a policeman coming home. God tells him, "Go to the church" and he says, not right now, I'm tired I want to go home. So he turn his steering wheel right, and his car goes left. At every turn his car turns to the church. He gets there and finds bad guys surrounding the praying church, and the bad guys see him and think the police force was called and run!
