Pray Without Ceasing!

Well here is the last update I will be doing for a while.
Passing-thru and Joanne will be home tomorrow, Lord willing.

I think before it slips my mind, I had better tell you about Joe.
His son, Joey asked David to tell us to pray for him as he will be undergoing a triple by-pass operation tomorrow.
His dad is not saved and so he wants us to pray for his salvation.
The dad's name is Joe Holland and he is 60 years old.

Please pray for little Joshua, Pleasant.
He will be having surgery also tomorrow.
His parents Reggie and Jessica are asking us to pray.
Joshua is 14 years old and he is a Christian.

Please pray for Pilgrim David's friend Mike Sweeney, a Christian baseball player who will be having a knee operation in the near future.

Serina has been feeling much better but please continue to pray that her strength will be better as in a little time she will be off to university.

Don't forget to continue to pray for our two Julies-one wants to make a perfect wedding cake for Saturday and the other who is wanting to go to the mission field with a suitcase full of chocolate, and God's message on her lips especially to the Spanish!

Dad Golden heard today that his "in patient" operation will be in October.
He is relieved that he has finally heard when.
He still needs the Lord though.

And continue to pray for these dear ones.....Pilot mom and dad[ cancer treatments], Lauren-mary[a job for the fall], Hebrews 11:1,[ neighborhood gospel work] Todd, and John, [for their salvation], Passing-thru and Joanne[for good job for Passing-thru], Pilgrim David and Carol as they prepare to move to another house, Arlene and Barry and Especially Heather....

PS.. I had good news from Donna today.
She wants to join the Pilgrim Pals family!!
We would all welcome her!

PS 2..Apparently Mike had his operation today.
Pilgrim David will have to give us an update on this!

I will be keeping all of these souls in prayer before the Lord.

Dear Pilgrim Pals,
I thank you for praying. I thank the Lord for answering, and I'll pray for each and everyone listed..and yes pray without ceasing.
I yhink when we're in need, like I have been the last mounth, the Lord also keeps me closer to him, by me being dependant without ceasing.
I'm lost for English words, but there was this king in the Old Testament who illand saved by God. He exclaimed that "The bitter became his peace".
We do not often understand why, we see as in a mirror, a riddle.
Sometimes though it's good to feel this peace, even for a short while.

Another Pal is coming on board...Yipee! So, I'll be very careful that I won't say a thing against New York...I promise. :) I just saw a game last night with a team from my favorite northeastern state, though...oh, what a game it was. I'm exhausted though, I think I need to take a catnap like Mrs. Shirkie takes. And I thought journalism was such an easy job...

Somebody is sure in a good mood, with all these little notes...
Has she? I never heard back from her, and I was so scared that she was deeply offended or something. I commented on a post of hers, though, and she published it, so I guess sh didn't mind me too much. Maybe it was because I mentioned my sister and a New Yorker...go ahead, Mrs. Shirkie, use your imagination. Just don't tell my sis I told you, and I hope she doesn't read this, eh?! She'll take her paddle (goalie stick) after me real good when I least expect it. Such a goalie...That's why I play forward or defense, I just can't relate.

Have a good evening!

Lil Pilgrim Pal
