We have known Ronnie and Lisa, his wife, for about 14 years. Ronnie has always been a wonderful servant of God. He has had cancer 2 times now. He found a lump on his ankle recently. "Because of his history" they have to do a biopsy. Like Lisa says, his history is that he is healed. Please pray for them and their children, Jake and Lindz. Go onto Lisa's blog and encourage them with your prayers as you have done for me, please. Ronnie and his family are very active in their church and he works a full time job and is an auxiliary cop.Thank you all for praying, I know you will. Love, Arlene..BY HIS STRIPES!!!!

We are praying today, dear friends!
What a privilege to carry, everything to God in prayer!
Let's rally the troops today, PILGRIM PALS.
God is good and He hears and answers prayer!

HELP! Could someone signed in as Pilgrim Pals paste the following comment on the Ronnie and Lisa's blog for me? I commented and realized I couldn't finish, because it only allows Google users...I'd be very appreciative if someone could cut and paste my comment over there as a Pilgrim Pal! Thank you so much! Here it is:

Mrs. Shirkie...Thank you so much, dear friend!
I had a hard time this a.m., a little before I got off here....our friend who's son died called us, and said she'll be in the area today and will stop in, and after I hung up with her, Ihad a realy hard time...I just needed to let it out, I gues, and I've held it back since Sunday. Even our cat was concerned for me as I knelt by my bed emptying my aching heart, and she jumped up beside me. I put on one of my favorite songs, and then I think I was better. I hope I can be brave when I see her today, and can encourage her. I'm sure my mom will wrap her arms around her, like she does for everyone who's just lost a loved one...I usually get over it as soon as I've poured out my heart, which when I know a loved one is dying I do it BEFORE they die, and then I can comfort others afterwards. Strange, isn't it? My grandfather's death was rather easy on me, because I was prepared 4 months before God called him home. I will never forget Evangeline, though, and even though it has been 11 yrs. since her death, and I will always have a part of me that misses her dearly. She was born with 1 lung, and should not have lived past a week...a month....her first year...certainly by God's grace alone she lived 6 yrs 4 months. I'll tell you more about her another time, but our friend just called from her cell, so I need to make sure this place looks tidy enough! If you get this note soon, please pray for her and my family and our time together.
