KEEP THE FIRES BURNING

David was hoping while he was away that The Pilgrim Pals Fires would be burning - so post away loved ones ! Prayer requests ? - We have plenty of prayer needs already - Arlene ? how is she doing ? --- Remember especiallyheather -- What a testimony she posted the last time !

Numbers 11 show the mindset and nature of man, (natural and sinful) God leads them out of Egypt - provides for them - and every time they continue to complain, find fault , doubt and even wish to go back to Egypt or even die in the wilderness ! - There is alot of sermon material in that chapter alone - Egypt = natural man, flesh -- etc. --
God is fed up again and declares - I will feed them flesh for a month straight ! - Moses says , he has over 650,000 footmen alone ! and out here in the desert, God is going to feed them ! - U all know the story - a wind blows and brings quail from the sea , so much so that for a days march in any direction around the camp , quail fall and rise to the height of 3 feet and probably cover an area of 12 to 20 miles in any direction ---- HOW BIG IS GOD ---
ARE U SICK ? - let him call on the Lord ------ AFFLICTED , let them pray --
EMERGENCIES - like felisol and serina - they called the Church , the living body of Christ
Finances - HE holds the wealth of the world - he can supply quail , or money thru the mail --
DIRECTION ? -- HE is our GUIDE ----- need I say more --- pray on loved ones -- praise HIM even more -------- LETS KEEP THE FIRES BURNING --------- "IN CHRIST" - passing-thru

This was todays daily verse from crosswalk.com. Thought you all would enjoy it

Isaiah 40:31
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and will not be faint.

Thoughts on today's verse

It is easy for us to live victoriously for the Lord when we soar on eagles wings. It can be exciting when we run and don't grow weary in the work of the Lord, buoyed by his power and presence. But it often takes heroes to keep walking and not faint when trying times come. Keep on walking, brother and sister. The Lord is there when you most fear he has forgotten you!
Prayer:

Majestic God, whose voice holds together our universe, give those who can barely walk under the stress and assault the strength to continue. I specifically want to pray for those I know personally who are facing trying times. Please, dear LORD, give them strength and meet their most pressings needs. Through the intercession of Jesus I ask it. Amen.

Really rich thoughts -- thankyou for posting - I don't know U and Heb 11:1 but there is a "depth" to what U believer's say -- I suspect your parents , your household and your GOD has done a "good" work in U all -----

Deep waters run still and in your calm , restful , prayerful way, I think our GOD has done and is doing a good work in U both -
