Wise Words Read By Grampa Yade

Tonight in prayer meeting, Grampa Yade read these words to us, and I thought that they were so good that after the meeting, I hurried over to him to borrow his little note.
I wanted to post them.
Hope that they will be an encouragement to all of the Pals....Love Terry

Grampa Yade read....

Mr. Wesley was once asked by a lady, "Suppose you knew that you were to die a twelve o'clock tomorrow night, how would you spend the intervening time?"
"How madam?" he replied.
"Why just as I intend to spend it now. I should preach this night at Gloucester, and again at five tomorrow morning. After that I should ride to Tewkesbury, preach in the afternoon, and meet again in the evening. I should then return to a friend Martin's house, who expects to entertain me, talk and pray with the family as usual, retire to my room at ten o'clock, commend myself to my heavenly Father, lie down to rest, and wake up in glory."

Go and work, the time is waning, let your earnest heart reply
To the call so oft repeated, "Blessed Master, here am I."

Amazing the dedication the Wesley brothers had for the church of Jesus Christ -- John's preaching and Charles's hymn writing -

In those days - they had George Whitfield , John Fletcher , the list goes on --

They were "able" to serve GREAT by being on their knees so often --
