Thanks for noticing my absense PT....it's kinda nice to be missed isn't it!
I was away for the weekend visiting my parent's out of town. They have a computer so I was reading the posts here, but just didn't take time to comment.....Alfie and I were enjoying the great outdoors. My mom still isn't great, however there is some improvement.
This is my last week off work. I will return half days for a couple weeks, beginning August 5th. I'm nervous but I know WHO my strength is: my Heavenly Father! He is my defender and rescuer....so, ultimately I will be okay! It helps that I'm only going back half-days for a few weeks, to ease back into the environment. And, I've learned a lot about boundaries - godly boundaries that I need to re-establish for my protection. I am reading the book Boundaries by Drs. Cloud and Townsend.....their Christian perspective is very good.
My test on Excel spreadsheets (which I'm pretty good at) and interview is tomorrow for the other job I mentioned....not the one with the medics but the surprise invitation! It'll be interesting to see what God brings about!! I may ask to change the day for the test to Wed....calling the manager this afternoon. He left me a message earlier to switch it to the morning but I feel I need an extra day to prepare! He seems reasonable so I don't think it'll be a problem. I will let you all know for sure when it is so you can be praying!
Until later.....
Peace of Christ Jesus to each of you.

Dear Little Missionary Julie..
It is your Mom and Dad's anniversary today isn't it?
Why not put a greeting for them at the Pals...It would be really nice!!
You sound so rested and enjoying the peace of God. It seems like your time off work has done you good.
Praying for tomorrow as you take that other job interview.
Give Alfie a hug and hope he is feeling better!! You know what I mean, eh?..Love Terry
Julie,
I couldn't help but notice how peaceful your post sounds. Praying for you....

Dear Julie, LBM,
I too have been worrying for you. Good to learn that everything is well and that you are by "good courage" as my uncle used to say.
Praying about the jobs.
From Felisol
Thanks for the UPDATE
I agree with the others -- your post had a "restful" and "steady" sense to it ---
After all -- we ARE on the Solid Rock
we are praying for U and this job every day --
