PS Has hockey season started yet .....ahhhhh, I'm going into withdrawals and my friend Louise is trying to convert me to CFL!!!

I am a huge CFL fan, well really an Alouettes fan. Football is fun to follow, you should try to like it. ;)
As the song says "We'll see you in September" hockey that is.
First of all let me clear up that that was not me with that photo...I am unable to post things, so my kind blogging buddies do it for me...I think it was Mrs Shirkie ("Terry") this time, if I'm not mistaken, based on the time it was posted. I was fast asleep at that hour :)
Second, I can relate to you when it comes to wishing for hockey season, but I usually take this time as a breather from hockey. I like to "fast" sports for a few days to a week at a time to give my mind a break from them--I find they can be so mind-consuming, and they take away from thoughts of God (Phil. 4:8). Although I like the saying we have here in Montreal that we have 2 seasons: hockey season and talk-hockey season :)
Third, on the CFL, my sister as you can see above is such a football fan, and she hasn't converted me yet. She was just complaining to me a few minutes ago that so and so had been cut from the Alouettes, and I replied I don't care. I used to get ocasional updates on their Bible Studies (who's attending, etc.) from a friend who knows their team chaplain, and THAT was exciting and interesting. I'll have to write my friend and tell her I miss those updates...the last one was about 2 or 3 years ago.
