Driving home from having breakfast with my wife at the resturant, we were passed by 3 large fire engines from different fire stations and then a huge tacticle support truck. Something BIG was happening somewhere close by --
How true with "life" -- we could be "just inches" away from impending danger and not know it - some day we may find out that many times we were within "yards" of an event that could have changed our lives forever --
That person "day dreaming" at the green light for those "15 seconds" may have saved U from disaster --
That flat tire U had one morning may have used up "minutes" that kept U from an accident down the road --
People living just down the road from the jail that kept Paul and Silas knew not that the ambassador of the Good News was leading the jailer to THE CHRIST -- they were "yards and minutes" away from the "REAL STORY" --
So true with life ---- Being in the Will of God , we need never worry about being "inches / yards -- seconds or minutes" away from the very best GOD has for us ----

Dear Passing-thru. I really believe that as far as the children of God are concerned there are no accidents.
Like you said he is preserving us and when everything seems to be going wrong, he picks up the pieces and starts a whole new thing.
For instance when I lost my job just over a year ago now, I thought it was the end of the world but I still had that job, there is no way I could of helped Mom and Dad Golden and they surely needed it!
God is always just right on time, eh?
