I contacted the HR person in charge of the job competition I've mentioned - admin to the Deputy Chief of Paramedic Service. As is the unfortunate, (for me) and usual practise of the City my Resume was put aside, (for now) because I am not currently in a unionized position. Unionized employees come first and it doesn't matter that I have all kinds of admin experience, PLUS an education in emergency medical services! The HR person told me there were a couple of qualified unionized candidates that will be interviewed first. If they do not pass the interview, then she must look at the Resumes again to make sure there are no others in the file with union status that could be considered, if there are not, THEN I will be contacted for an interview. UGH! The HR person said I could call her next week to check in where the process is at - so please continue to pray as the Lord puts it on your heart. I'm not giving up "bugging" my Lord on this yet.
Thanks.

Oh Little Missionary Julie..
At least you have your foot in the door and it is the Lord that rules so if He wants you there, you WILL be there!
Grampa Yade used to quote this verse to me all the time.
Proverbs 21:1
The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
We will continue to pray ...Love Terry
Hi Terry, excellent scripture! I am trusting the Lord for whatever outcome.
