Revelation 12;17

Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring—those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.(Rev 12;17)
This not merely a flesh and blood battle.
Thank you friends for praying for the saints in Orissa.
The newspaper tells me there a shoot at sight order in places where violence and arson is raging.

I got an email from an Indian missionary friend with a whole of list of separate incidents. Many Christians are taking shelter in forests.I will post that letter on my blog, later on (the power is about to go off).

Tomorrow Christian Schools all over India will close as a sign of protest.
God reigns in all this. The gates of hell shall not prevail against what God is building. Remember the saints in the catacombs.

The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church - John Wesley

Dear Amrita...How scary it must be for the Christians in India going through all of this. Doe God just draw closer to you and give you more strength to carry on for Him? I just don't think that I could handle it all!!
This is not newspaper reporting or propaganda Amrita. We are hearing this from you, a reliable source!
We will be praying for you!...Love Terry

Yes --- it's surrealistic -- hearing this in "now" time is so strange
Trusting God that He is That Hedge around U and all people that are called by His Name -

Thankyou for bringing "reality" to our everyday lives
This is truly what Christianity is about -- taking back The Kingdom of God - the devil and his demons are at war with the Christians ---
Blessings on U , Amrita

Dear Amrita,
How brave you are and so ready to fight for your belief.
I've always wondered if I lived in the old Soviet Union, if I had dared to be a Christian there, we used to get such horrible reports from USSR back then.
Now, when I read about India, I'm feeling even smaller.
A missionary once told that in times of trials there are no lukewarm Christians.
Rev. 3:
The Lukewarm Church

14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans[f] write,
‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot,[g] I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
I pray for India and her persecuted Christians. I also pray for The USA, Canada and Norway that we will let God revive our hearts, that we may become burning and alive.

Thank you for your prayers.
BBC reported it on their news hour last night, and of course the Indian edition of CNN.

The govt. is not doing enough to protect the Christians. We are protesting against that by keeping our educatiinal institution closed tomorrow.

Also pray for people trapped in the Christian hospital in Madepura , in Bihar state.Bihar is reeling under severe floods. The whole hospital is inundated. Some staff and doctors have taken shelter on a roof top ( without food and water), the patients who could mange it fled to safety , others too sick just perished in the flood waters.

My heart just bleeds for all this

One would think that the gov't would have military troops helping the hospital staff in flood emergencys
