So Cruel

When I left this morning to take Nathan and Tamara into town, the first highway I traveled was Highway 7A. No big deal! Then when I got to Hwy. 28, the sign had been changed to 62. (see photo) Were they trying to convey a cruel message. 28 to 62...that's quite a leap!

Feeling old, I continued on to the next highway...# 115. Suddenly I felt young again. Nice feeling.

Here's a picture of the great writer John Milton when he was 62! Now don't you think I look better than that at my advanced age? Please say YES!

Better run! Gotta check to see if my pension cheque ("check" for you Americans) arrived! Oops, it doesn't come 'til about the 26th of the month.

By the way, you only have to be 62 to get the Tuesday Seniors' Discount at KOHLS stores in the USA. Maybe I better go back. I bought a $38.00 shirt for $10.00 last week. With the "old folks" discount it would have been 15% less.

Carol is in Peterborough checking out the Seniors' Residences (and there are dozens of them in town). Just kidding...
