Felisol Enlsiting The Pilgrim Pals With New Prayer Request

You stood by me when Serina was so seriously ill. Just this day she has finished her antibiotics cure, and the aching of her joints is almost gone.
We are all on our knees, thanking the Lord for his mercy, and begging that there will not be any further side illnesses following the arthritic fever. I take nothing for granted, but enjoy each day the moore.

I have been wrestling and doubting to and fro, if I should send this letter, because it means another burden laid upon you, and am not sure at all that this is the right time to do so.
Feel free to do with it as you wish; I have the deepest respect for you, whatever choice you’ll make.
The thing is I have another prayer request, this time for a dear friend of the family.
I am lucky to have five close female friends in this town. Some of us have been working together, some have shared common interests and joined the closely knitted gang of six. We have shared good times and bad, births, illnesses, ageing, loss of jobs, loss of family members, vacations, weekly hiking, gardening, hobbies, music, song, laughter and our belief in bringing all our worries and need to the Lord.
Seven years ago one of my friends got cancer and was terrified. The other told her not to worry, ‘cause Elise’s father is praying for you. She got cured within a year.
Most of my friends have husbands who also come along, for celebrations, shorter or longer trips. They become a part of the extended friend-family group one is free to choose.
Liv and Sigve are relavtivly new friends, we’ve close for about ten years.
Their both active Christians, devoted to their family and always have a helping hand to give, be it the elderly in the church, fund raising or repairing a broken car or a tired heart.
For a year now Sigve has been ill with cancer caused by working with asbestos. He’s been through surgery and chemo. There’s only one thing worse than going through chemo, and that is the day the doctor tells there’s nothing more he can do. That’s the message Sigve got shortly before Easter this year. He hs not given up, though. Expensive alternative cures have been imported from East Europe, 30 pills a day..
Now, he’s extremely ill, in severe pain and in hospital.
We are praying and have been praying, even sent for a ointment cloth prayed over by one who has got the power to heal.
Liv, his wife has stood by him every day, but even in these days had time to comfort and share with her friends.
And they’re so happy and harmonic together.
I simply cannot let be to ask you if you can find some minutes to pray for dear Sigve, and Liv as well, she terribly worn.
I have asked their permission to do so, and they smiled and said yes, of course, do what you like. We have faith in God, and hope he shows mercy. Should his ways be different than we hope, we’ll accept that too.

you know, I need some like my father, or the wonderful Pilgrim Pals to help out.
But “he who believes does not hurry,”was a theme for the minister’s sermon at my father’s funeral.
I’ll go down to my prayer room and do as Pilgrim Mom told me to in the Phillipines 4:6-7.
