Eating With the Pals

On Thursday I had a surprise visitor at Elim Lodge, my dear friend Paul Mackay (pictured with Matthew and me), one of the Pilgrim Pals. He called me on my birthday and told me he'd be in the area the next day. It was great to see him. He dropped by while we were having lunch in the dining hall. Paul always enjoys a good meal. I wish he could have stayed longer but it was sure great to see him. NOTE: Paul has posted his account of our time together at Elim Lodge on his blog, Still Rambling. Last night I attended the wedding of one of my office colleagues, Mark Hines (pictured with me and his new bride, Ann). I was asked to be the photographer and I consented although I was worried that I might mess up...or my SONY might die on me. Another of our Pilgrim Pals, Julie (Sweet Inspirations) and her husband Andy were there as well. I sat with them at the reception and chided Julie on not posted on Pals for a long time. She told me that she has a new name and URL for her own blog. It's now called Me, My Thoughts, and I. Check it out here.
