God's Dwelling Place

This morning I'm experiencing another of those dark, foreboding days when I seem to be gasping (spiritually) to stay alive. The clouds of depression linger endlessly and don't want to move on. Fear begs to be my constant companion in spite of my protestations.

Where does one run when being pursued by the amassed cohorts of the evil one. To the eternal, inspired, inerrant word of our God, of course. He alone has the words of life. Hallelujah!

"This is what the high and lofty One says - He who lives forever, whose name is holy: 'I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and toi revive the heart of the contrite.'" - Isaiah 57:15 (NIV)

May each of us, Pilgrim Pals, receive comfort and encouragement from the word of God today.

Wherever we are - He is there!

~ David, the Pilgrim

thank you David for making us aware of your needs....when I am in that dark and lonely place, I become paralyzed and often times blinded to His word...the climb up is long and arduous...we are here to love and support you through your difficult times...a friend loves at all times...may you know you ate loved and prayers are being said for you.

The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Psalm 34:17
