Here's part of the update I just received from my friend Mike Sweeney of the Kansas City Royals. He had arthroscopic surgery earlier this week.Mike writes:
"...I was reminded by the Gospel of Matthew to heed the words Jesus spoke to Matthew, 'Follow Me'. I may be limping. The media may be buzzing negativity but I must simply follow my Savior. The surgery was a bit tougher than we hoped but 6 to 8 weeks is better than never. I love you Doc and I thank you for you prayers and love."

Note: Mike calls me "Doc"! He thinks I have a PhD in theology or philosophy! He knows I don't but he calls me "Doc" anyway. I kinda like it if the truth be known.

Well, what do U think Doc ? - tough week ahead, 3 Hebrews had a tough week ahead - Daniel did when he left the window open and prayed, knowing the kings weenies were going to "rat" him out --

Well, a doctor practices medicine and, you practice the best medicine there is...Jesus Christ. So I do believe the title 'Doc' suffices. ;)
