Canada Day

Psalm 126:2"Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them."If only the Canadian people would fall down before God and be saved. The Lord will be here soon.He has done great things for us and I am really sorry to see that we have taken Him for granted!I feel that I must put these words of the Lord in this blog, whether they be politically correct or not! They are the words of the Lord and not mine!2 Peter 2:4-94For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;5And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;6And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;7And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:8(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)9The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Deuteronomy 32:29O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end

David,

Please forgive me for re-posting your post without the picture...there was a comment that needed to be removed and I had no other way of removing it other than re-do the post. Can you add the picture back in...it was very beautiful...and Happy Cananda Day to you

Happy Canada Day, Pals!

This is a VERY good post...reminds me of 2 chr. 6:14.

When we went to Ottawa in May, my sister and I made bookmarks with a photo of her canadian flag waving in the wind, the blue sky behind it, and it read, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." Psalm 33:12 and on the back we put James 1:5...then we gave it out to various MPs and people we met at Parliament ;)

Love and Prayers,
LPP...the American residing in Canada and STILL awaiting citizenship!!!

Dear Donna...That is ok about the flag. I don't feel very proud of my country today anyway, after reading Julie's post about that Morgentale guy. We should be ashamed that he was allowed this high honour. He is a wicked sinner and unless he gets saved, he will remain a wicked sinner and will be in hell while all those innocent babes he has killed will be in heaven and when he reaches the Great White Throne, they with their sweet innocent eyes will be beside the Lord while he is on his knees before God, and the Lord will judge him, and Morgentale's lips will be speechless!

Dear Little Pilgrim...That was so sweet what you did in Ottawa. So nice that you gave them to the MP's
You are a good girl...love Mrs. Shirkie

Hi Julie-Lm,

Thank you for your encouragement! Whenever we go to Ottawa we bring lots of versecards and hand them out, but this time as we knew that going with this group we'd be meeting a lot of politicians, we thought we'd make our own for the occasion!

Yes, I've been living in Canada for 20yrs. and the judge said when I was 5 I became a citizen, but alas the day before my 21st birthday I found out I was not one! So I applied last June, and have been waiting a year....sigh...my dad said he always hoped to see my citizenship and hoped that even when he was gone, I would try hard to receive it in a more timely manner....

So that's my story ;)

Love and Prayers,
LPP

PS Are you going to see the fireworks tonight on the Hill? We always wanted to go there one year...
