Catching Up

It's been so busy here at Elim Lodge that today is the first time I've been able to go online to see what's happening with the Pilgrim Pals.

HAPPY CANADA DAY!

I, like many others, am very unhappy with the honours being extended to Canada's Legal Murderer, Dr. (???) Henry Morgentaler. What a sad commentary on the state of affairs in our country.

On a more positive note, my stay here at Elim Lodge has been very rewarding. Each day I'm responsible for leading the morning Bible study at 9:30 and the evening worship & teaching service at 7:30. This morning I led the mens' Bible study. We began at 7:00 a.m. and we had 34 men in attendance. I was thrilled!

The speaker this week is Ian Leitch from Edinburgh, Scotland. He is an itinerant evangelist with The Heralds Trust and travels the world ably articulating the gospel. I've enjoyed working with Ian and the week is still young. We still have 7 more sessions to go. Carol and my family are here yesterday, today and tomorrow morning. I'll be here until a week from Friday, the 11th. Thanks for your prayers.

Be encouraged, dear friends. I'll check in later.

Much love in Christ,

~ David, the Pilgrim

How nice to hear your voice Pilgrim David!
There you are being saturated with the word of God and here I sat fuming until I read the excellent post over at Donna's..
I know that I shouldn't get so mad at the things that are occurring in our country but I just can't help it sometimes.
Here I was saying that I am proud of our troops and I am but, Betty told me today that there was several soldiers in that wicked parade that were proud of what they are....and I am not talking about what they are doing as far as freedom is concerned....
Like I said David...nice to hear your voice You have a stabilizing affect on me....love Terry
