CAN GOD BE COUNTED ON

Does God forget ? - Can HE be counted on ? - Does God cross every "t" and dot every "i" ? The answer is No, Yes and He does. To U bible students , remember "the unknown prophet" First Kings 13 From out of no-where , God calls the unknown prophet to prophesy to King Jeroboam of Israel, he shouts out that in the future a King named Josiah will come on the scene and dig up and burn the bones of baal type ministers on the very altars that King Jeroboam was sacrificing on - time goes by , a King rises to the throne named Josiah , he is fervent for the Lord , Second King 23 - he sets out on getting Israel right with God, he kills pagan priests, digs up the very bones of every sinful priest that helped lead Israel away from God - he digs them up and burns them on the altars that years ago King Jeroboam built -- as King Josiah scouts the country side , he sees a grave marker and asks the soldiers to whom does this belong and to what does it say - they report , this is the grave of the "unknown" prophet , who God spoke thru , that U , King Josiah would come to the throne and U would be zealous to make things right and U would dig up and burn the bones of false priests -- The King says - DO NOT TOUCH THE BONES OF THAT UNKNOWN PROPHET --- What is the gist of this bible story ? --- The gist is , that GOD DOES NOT FORGET - WHAT HE SAYS, HE WILL DO -- GOD DOES NOT MISS A STEP -- So David , take heart -- HE IS WATCHING AND CARING FOR U AND CAROL -- for all of us this holds true --- OUR GOD IS FAITHFUL --- now here is the kicker ! If I remember right, years ago I researched this but the prophey came true approximately 450 years after the unknown prophet prophesied. --- not 4 years or 45 years - but 450 YEARS -- GOD NEVER MISSED A BEAT -------passing-thru
