Julie , I seen your draft on "two things" -- a little down are you ? --- Julie, many times we get down, so don't get discouraged that U get the "blues" now and then -- U have been doing GREAT and your still ANCHORED ON THE ROCK , many times I get down, I even will sneak a email to Terry or David and Claire and ask for prayer -- specially when I was out of work for almost 3 months with no income , things "build up" we are but human -- and being human does not "make void" the things of God in our life ---- "HE REMEMBERS WE ARE BUT DUST" - So cheer up Julie of Ottawa , our Lil M -------- we will pray more and believe more , your on a road that leads to the Throne -- and Julie, if U ask our David, he will tell U of many times he gets down -- but U know what , like U , he gets up again and renews his committment to the Lord who does not fail --------- share with the women in here , they love U and will help see U thru

I thought I had deleted that....I just didn't want to whine tonight. Yes, I'm down - I'm just discouraged with my life - so little fruit for the Lord ...most days I just function...know what I mean? I feel a little lost and lonely that's all. Thanks for your thoughts passing-thru - good night.

Julie (LM)

Hmm, I wouldn't call it whinning - just a little lonely, discouraged abit , and so far as fruit , praying for people is a "fruit bearing process" that yields abundance for Eternity -- and these "emotions" are human -- unless U think because your spiritual , U won't have these emotions ? -- see now , what U did ! U got me "preaching" again -- nice trick Julie -- U trapped me -- I know your hurting Julie, and these women in "pals" will stand with U --- LOVE IN CHRIST JULIE -- your friend, Bob

Emotional times hit so hard sometimes, don't they? I've gone through much myself in the way of discouragement, but take heart. Our God is bigger than our changing emotions and shifting circumstances. We're on our journey HOME, sweet sister...and we're bound to step on briars and thorns along the way. Found this today in my reading:

Gaze at God, glance at the need, and entrust it to His all-wise, all-loving care. He is the Lord, the Most High God who reigns over all. To whom else would we go?"

I love to look at the names of God during particularly difficult times, because I think that's how God is teaching me of the many facets of His character. Right now, I'm looking at:

* Keeper and Protector
* Lifter of my head
* Restorer of my soul
* Way-maker

So I'm praying that our God would become known to each of us as our awesome Keeper, Protector, Lifter of our heads, Restorer of our souls, and the Way-maker for all we go through this week.

Let us only glance at the feelings, but GAZE long at God. While the enemy tries to discourage and defeat us through these emotions we sometimes have, we know who is the Lifter of our Head!

Praying, praying, praying!

'Cause He reigns!

AMEN...He reigns..."All God's children singin' Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, He reigns..."

Thank you for the encouragement, Vicki.
