A request and some lyrics!

Hi everyone!
I think " Pilgrim Pals" is such a great idea!
For the past 2 years my grandmother has been battling illness, and I was speaking to her yesterday and her eyesight has been bothering her again. She loves to read, and so this is a cause of great stress to her. She's a strong, Christian woman and has been a big influence on my life, so please keep her in your prayers.
While heading on to work today, I was listening to some music, and some lyrics from one song stayed in my head all day, so I just thought I'd share them:

I confess from time to time I lose my way
But You are always there
To bring me back again

It's from the song " Mountain of God" by Third Day. (I'm constantly mocked for my love of country music, but I can't help it!).
Also, let's all remember to keep EACH OTHER in our prayers!!

Lauren-Mary

p.s. Julie, I like your predictions!! I agree- either way, they are winners. Go Sens Go... and Go Mike Go!

Are you as nervous as I am tonight? Yikes! It's going to be a tough one to watch if Little Fish is the only Senator who shows up tonight.

I certainly won't mock your taste in music.

Let's all pray for Mike tonight!

YES ---------- I agree , this is a good idea to have believers in the SHED BLOOD OF CHRIST , recipients of HIS GRACE to have a blog site to read, share, pray and praise for needs or answers to prayer --

Dear Lauren-mary,

I don't know who "Third Day" is but I googled it and found the lyrics to "Mountain of God" and how nice they are!

"Thought that I was all alone
Broken and afraid
But You were there with me
Yes, You were there with me.

And I didn't even know
That I had lost my way
But You were there with me
Yes, You were there with me.

'Til You opened up my eyes
I never knew
That I couldn't even make it
Without You.

Even though the journey's long
And I know the road is hard
Well, the One who's gone before me
He will help me carry on
After all that I've been through
Now I realize the truth
That I must go through the valley
To stand upon the mountain of God.

As I travel on the road
That You have lead me down
You are here with me
Yes, You are here with me
I have need for nothing more
That You are here with me
Yes, You are here with me

I confess, from time to time
I lose my way
But You are always there
To bring me back again

Sometimes I think of where it is Iv'e come from
And the things I've left behind
But all I've had, what I possessed
Nothing can quite compare
With what's in front of me.

I thought that I was all alone
Broken and afraid
But You are here with me
Yes, You are here with me."

The words are so touching Lauren-mary.
They remind me of the words to one of my favorite songs by "Charles Johnson and The Rivivers",
"I Can't Even Walk Without You Holding my Hand"
They sing it on one of "Bill Gaithers and Friends" video.

God's blessings on your day Lauren-mary.
I am thinking of you...Love Terry

Lauren Mary, you are not the only Pilgrim Pal who likes Country...my little sister "PrayingSensFan..." is a huge fan of that stuff. She will go around all day humming some song I'e never heard, and then I hear the tune so much, I will be humming it in a few days...then she comes up to me and says, "Oh, you like that song?!" and I'll realize I'm humming something I've never heard the words to. Lately she's been humming, "Lost in this moment wth you", and I dislike that song so much, I really hope I don't start humming it. My favorite on the charts right now is either "Stand" or "Moments"...my sister used to call "Stand" "the Saku Koivu song", because it remindedher of him, but now she calls it "the Mike Fisher song"...I can just see Mrs. Shirkie going to google that song...:)
