If we don't hear from a "Loved One" within a reasonable time , we worry or wonder, whats wrong. Thats normal, for we are made to be "connected", whether it be by phone, letter or in person. Close friends that bonded during childhood or in college or thru experiences in adult life, stay "in touch" from time to time. Children "look" for the return of their parents or for mom's voice in the noise of the thunderstorm. Newly married daughters will "connect" with mom's advice on issues, or how to prepare certain meals or to cry tears with over troubles. Older children will call parents just to "share the moment" as I often did with my dad, now that he had his homecoming, I miss him still, but I am glad, I called him as often as I did.
The point is:
We have been designed by God to have fellowship with loved ones and with HIM. Our Lord and Saviour, said for "our sakes" , I will send U, ANOTHER COMFORTER. HE will bring words from me, HE will speak of ME. " WE " will not leave U alone, in the storms of life, "WE" will be there with U, when your tired or alone or unsure, "BE SURE" of this, "I WILL NEVER LEAVE U NOR FORSAKE U. What a God, What a Saviour, What a Comforter, - What a Gospel.

Dear passing-thru bro,
Romanans eight is a place to dwell in, for a long time.
I'm using the Bible Gateway when online, but have my father's old Bible by my left side here on the kitchen dresser (Dad got a new, lighter edtition for his 50th birthday.) I enjoy his comments and underlinings.
Verse 38 is remakrked twice, and that's also a corner stone in the foundation walls of my belief.
Rom 8
38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Have a wonderful autumn week. Don't forget Dad Golden, his op and his salvation.
Yours Felisol on the far side of the sea is taking a week off with family reunion.
Hi Ladies -- just got home and got to shower -- this working for food is tiring --- lol
Jel, your name is Janice isn't it ? - lol -- or is it Anonamous, hmmmm
Terry , trying to let God start my days for one never knows the trials that may come --- EH !
FELISOL -- HAVE A GREAT WEEK !!
Felisol, that is probably my most favorite verse in all the Bible. Oh I have many, many favorites but that was one of my first "favorites" so it is one of my "oldest" favorites. Does that make sense? :D
HI PILOT MOM !
GREAT TO SEE U HERE ------
ANY WORD ON JIM ?
Oh,PT, here comes Mr. Webster again...it is ANONYMOUS not anonAmous! Do you want to know how the Lord humbled me? I was alwaysproud that I was SO GOOD in spelling, and my sister struggled....which I couldn't relate to at all. Then I wrote an anonymous letter of encouragement to someone who had majored in English...and I spelled anonymous wrong: I spelled it the way you just did.. How silly do you think I felt?!
I love those verses, too!
And, Mrs. Shirkie, my sister thinkit to so sweet of you to always look up the meanng to everyone's name. I could tell you what mine means, but it is too easy to guess my name...okay, it has something to do with God. And so does my sister's, which is a Bible name.
God bless you all,
LPP
Not well. The CT scan came back 'no tumors or masses.' That is good, but then, we are not any closer to what is the matter.
Will talk with the doctor (I pray) tomorrow (Friday) to find out where we go from here. Who do we see next.
So I guess we are back at deep tissue infection? I don't know. He has also ruled out hyperparathyroidism which totally shot my balloon. :( I was so hopeful.
I keep reminding myself that Christ is sufficient, even if we don't find out what is wrong.
He is sufficient. He is sufficient!
Passing Thru Bob...you never cease to amaze me with how much you inspire thought when I read your posts.
I must confess...my September absence from Pilgrim Pals is the results of being slammed with work, church activities, Bible study and more. I look forward to things slowing down a tad...just for sanity's sake.
But when you talked about fellowship with the Creator...it got me thinking...do I forsake time and fellowship with my Lord? Do I forsake the fellowship of other believers? I must confess I have this month with my Pilgrim Pals.
Thank you dear one for being that prick of the conscious and a tool of the Holy Spirit. To all the precious Pilgrim Pals...you are precious indeed. Just think what it will be like when we all get to meet in heaven one day. David...if there is a blogging section in heaven...I have no doubt that Jesus will give you a special assignment.
Miss Terry...praying for Dad Golden. I, like so many, eagerly look forward to a wonderful praise report one day soon...as we welcome a brother in Christ.
To the one who sent a special e-mail...please know that we are praying for the Lord's leading guidance and pray that He will go before you and make your path straight. Remember...obedience to God and His will, will always result in blessing. Sometimes immediately...sometimes down the road. But you will have His peace in your obedience.
Miss Heather...praying for God's mercy, healing and strength. To faithful Donna walking in love for others. Miss Arlene...praying for God to rain down His love, peace, strength, grace and mercy to you. To David and Carol...who walk a faithful walk with their Lord and are open and transparent...available for the Lord's service. To Passing Thru Bob...with a tender heart for his Lord and for the body of Christ.
Genesis 22:6-8
6. And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
7. And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
8. And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
Praying for you Pilot-mom and Pilot-dad
God has the answer to all of our questions.......Love Terry
