Just thinking of the "Pals" - please take hope , so many have been thru so much, the Saijas' and Claires' , the Vickis', Arleness' , Heathers' not only the physical but the emotional, BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL -- the language of HIS LOVE LETTERS are filled with words like Anchor, Rest, Comfort. Here is a "saying" from the great John Bunyon and a website that has a few of his famous quotes:"I would say to my soul, O my soul, this is not the place of despair; this is not the time to despair in. As long as mine eyes can find a promise in the Bible, as long as there is a moment left me of breath or life in this world, so long will I wait or look for mercy, so long will I fight against unbelief and despair."

You are so right, PT, this is not a moment of despair. Rather, it is a moment of hope and expectation for what our Lord is doing and will continue to do. Namely, bringing us more into His likeness, conforming us to Him. May we continue to press into Him for our strength comes from Him. Our peace is poured out upon us from His gracious hand!
