Looking back 40 years ago, hot summer sunday nite, sitting in that small nazarene church, my wife and I , a "few" of the old time saints, my mom and dad were 45 years old then, and about 4 years "in the faith".
Testimonies, singing and some good old time preaching, "one" could hear the traffic rolling by, sometimes kids laughing and making noise as they walked by the church.
Reflecting of days gone by -- " a lifetime ago " Songs drift back as well, reminding one of what all this is about, softening , molding, re-making.
Sometimes it takes being put back on the Potter's Wheel --
I've asked God to put me back on THE WHEEL , I want HIS DESIGN, on me to mold.
" Behold, I make All things new"
THERE IS A FOUNTAIN FILLED WITH BLOOD, DRAWN FROM EMMANUEL'S VEINS , AND SINNERS PLUNGE BENEATH THAT FLOOD , LOSE ALL THEIR GUILTY STAINS, LOSE ALL THEIR GUILTY STAINS
