Looking back 40 years ago, hot summer sunday nite, sitting in that small nazarene church, my wife and I , a "few" of the old time saints, my mom and dad were 45 years old then, and about 4 years "in the faith".Testimonies, singing and some good old time preaching, "one" could hear the traffic rolling by, sometimes kids laughing and making noise as they walked by the church.
Reflecting of days gone by -- " a lifetime ago " Songs drift back as well, reminding one of what all this is about, softening , molding, re-making.
Sometimes it takes being put back on the Potter's Wheel --
I've asked God to put me back on THE WHEEL , I want HIS DESIGN, on me to mold.
" Behold, I make All things new"
THERE IS A FOUNTAIN FILLED WITH BLOOD, DRAWN FROM EMMANUEL'S VEINS , AND SINNERS PLUNGE BENEATH THAT FLOOD , LOSE ALL THEIR GUILTY STAINS, LOSE ALL THEIR GUILTY STAINS

Passing-thru Bob, I love hearing about those days...stirs up memories. Those words to that song are AWESOME to remember, too....Oh, the Blood that washes away ALL our sins and guilty stains! Whatever is going on around us, this we can rejoice in! And then I keep thinking about John 3:30: He must increase, but we must decrease! Everything we go through is meant to 'decrease' self and increase Jesus IN us. That's incredible to think about. And His grace is all-sufficient for every need.

I know what U mean about being back on the "Wheel" -- my friend once prayed for "patience" as he knew he was short in that area - the very next day and for a week after that, he had one "trial" after another - lol -- he said he would "NEVER" pray for anything like that again -- lol -- for "TRIALS" produces patience - lol
My request for being EXAMINED by the Master comes from a growing judgemental attitude - it tends to start small and grows and "takes" the JOY out of one's walk --
" A LITTLE LEAVEN " - knowing that the "flesh" has little power over such things , I setup an "appointment" with THE POTTER
