Dear Pals:Warm greetings in the Lord!
Today I'll be serving as a pallbearer at Les Groves' funeral and then I'll leave for the first leg of my journey to Pittsburgh. Hopefully I'll make it to Erie, PA tonight.
I'm taking my trusted laptop with me and, Lord willing, I'll be posting during my pilgrimage if I can get a wireless connection at the motels.
Please pray for me as I travel. Pray that my time with Gabe Gross will be an encouragement to both of us. Please pray for Carol and the children while I'm away. Matthew has been battling a cold and Nathan didn't feel well last night.
Well, friends, I must close. Thanks again for your consistent concern for each other and for the many who we request prayer for. God will honor these requests as we lift them before Him with sincere and clean hearts.

Yes Lord, we do pray for our David today and for Lila and the mourners.
We thank thee that Mr.Groves in in heaven and that this will be a comfort to Gordon and his Mom.
I pray also for David's safety and for his own family, at home as he travels.
