None...Yet

In case you didn't read the comment from Hebrews 11:1 following my recent posting, she quoted one of my favorite passages from the minor prophets. Thanks, dear friend!

Here it is:

"Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments." - Habakkuk 3:17-19 (KJV)

Really? That is oneof your favorites? Oh, God really has such a sense of humor...I was reading that and thought of you!

You should see the smile in my face and my shining eyes!

But this tired pal needs to getto bed, and is going to stay up until she reads your response as to when you're coming to town...

God bless you,
LPP

P.s. I guess the secret I wrote you about is long out of the bag, now! Maybe I should just change my name altogether to the other one, but Ireally like this one!

I guess you missed my earlier comment. The HMI staff conference is being held right in Montreal from October 1-3. We will tour the new office but will stay at the Chateau Champlain and have our meals and meetings there.

Will you be around?

Get to sleep now, my special friend!

In His love,

David

Yes, sir! I'm off to bed! And WHERE, might I ask, is this new office? I'm wondering if I pass right by it often...but you should hear us children in the far back bench in the van when we head into downtown/westmount...you will hear whispers like, "P...MCG....drives a Cadillac, remember!" "and the song says, 'Cadillacs end up in the junkyard' (Dion--"I put away my idols"--an oldie from my mom from the eighties)"Oh, didn't that look like Souray back there?" "I am SURE that was so-and-so..." "COOL! There's the Bell Centre" --CLICK!-- (the zillionth photo of it...still just as blurry as ever, through the van window) "Where is the (CJAD or Teamm 990) building from here?" "Didn't that guy look like Melnick?"

Yes, my siblings and I are just a wee bit crazy at sightseeing, but it's only when we're in town. There are only jokes about the West Island, we rarly look for people there...and no, we don't idolize anybody, but in our neck-of-the-woods, it is real such a humble little area that seems to be increasingly crime-filled, that it is fun to play these kinds of games in town! Oh, I did tell you we live OUTSIDE of Montreal, right? Our city has pop. 350,000 (apprx.) and our district 72,000 (apprx.)

Lord willing we shall meet one day!

Good night for now!

I am inclined to like your name Hebrews 11:1..
But like David, I like the other one too.
I never heard the other one until I read it on my Felisol's blog and then I got a nice card from that other one and from Little Montreal Girl.
You know what Hebrews?..the only greeting I ever got from your Mr. Fisher was just a wave of his hand as he passed Welland on his way to Fort Erie and THAT just got blown in the wind and probably ended up somehere else!!
Apparemtly he claims that he waved at our New Yorker, Donna but who knows, eh???

Your grannie is still on my mind...Love Mrs. Shirkie

R U Saying Terry , that Capt. David "claims" to wave as he crusises thru one's area - he admits to waving to U as he speeds over the speed limit and he denies picture stealing, picture procuring, midnite acquistions - so he says he DOES WAVE and he says he DOSEN'T STEAL PICTURES -- - OH I SEE, OK , I GOT THE PICTURE

Praying for all you good folks. We will joy in our Lord, the God of our salvation, yes we will!

Pilgrim David, hang in there. God will not let you go.
