PRAYER FOR SAIJA and LEO

this is the view from leo's hospital room ... yes - you read correctly, my leo ended up in emerge last night because of a 103F fever ... and he was rather incoherent ... not to mention falling down! sooooooooo, at 10 p.m. we were in the small town hospital emerge, where they were waiting for him (i'd called ahead) and he was in a room as fast as the wheelchair could go ... all the bloodwork, xrays, etc., were done quickly & efficiently ... and the antibiotic drip got started right away ...
i slept 3 hours last night ... and the poor kitty was by his lonesome, tho' he has started to eat & drink now ...
leo's fever has left ... but the doctor thinks the cause is still lurking somewhere in leo's lungs ... so he gets to stay another night or two ...
if you would remember us in prayer, i would appreciate it ...
we are thankful that things got taken care of as quickly as possible ... that the hospital is close by ... we know God is in control ... and i have praying friends ... which means - you - to encourage us along ... thanking my blog buds in advance ...

Thanks so much for posting this. You beat me to the punch. We're home and ready to plunge into the PILGRIM PALS ministry with greater fervor than every. Thanks for being my right-hand lady...actually God's chosen vessel for this ministry.

Lots of love,

David

P. S. Burnt muffins for Bernie tomorrow?

Dear David...I think that Passing-thru beat us to the draw or maybe Saija, herself but whoever did, I am glad that they told us because now we know what we have to pray for..

Bernie will have burnt muffins all week David because he has a week holidays..

A week holidays...wasn't Mr. Shirkie just on holidays a few weeks ago?! Just kidding! He deserves it. We just got the dreaded news that my dad has to go on yet another business trip...I don't mind them like I did when I was little, but they are so hard on my mom nowadays.

God bless you,
LPP

thank you so much guys ... i was so pooped out that i didn't even the gumption to copy & post here as well - besides, there is so much praying to do for everyone, and you guys hold us up so often in that department - i did not want want to bog you down ...

silly of me ... i will chalk that up to only 3 hours of sleep!

leo is on his 3rd antibiotic IV drip and he was feeling so much better - last night he was totally out in left field - maybe further!! falling down, incoherent - and burning up with fever ... i was worried that if he fell, i would be in quite the pickle - since he is twice my size ... but the angels held in up - into the car - and off we went ...

thank you again, sweet friends!

Oh that is way too sad Hebrews.
When Dad Golden joined the airforce , he used to leave Mom Golden and the four kids in Port Robinson for weeks at a time when he went to Trenton, and we really missed him.
One time I will never forget, we woke up one morning and there he was at home still sleeping on the bed with mom beside him.
We all jumped into the bed to hug mom and dad and CRASH!!! The bed broke!!!
I remember this just like it was yesterday!..Love Mrs. Shirkie

Saija...Thank you for the update!

Mrs. Shirkie...I can just hear and see it! I nearly burst out laughing, but then I'd awake everyone in this sleepy house..oh, no it is nearly 10 and I still need to take out the dog, take my vitamins, shower, throw the cat downstairs...YAWN...I really must sign off, everyone! Oh, Mrs. Shirkie, I left an update on my dad's health down there on a previous post, and also a camera update on another post.

Ani Ohav Otach and
Ani Ohav Otcha to all!
