Thanks Pals

Just a thank you to all who prayed as a result of Passing thru's post last night. Ha, I thought I had deleted a post I started but didn't and "hawk-eye" saw it and responded in godly fashion! I'm okay folks - just get overwhelmed with aloneness now and again. Lord knows the last year was a biggie for me - changing churches and leaving friends behind was a huge transition for me and I'm still a bit uncomfortable in my new surroundings. Takes me a good while to feel at home. Plus, God is really doing some "weeding" in my heart (I've been meeting with my pastor to sort though "junk") and that gets me pretty worn out at times. Hopefully His pruning will yield some great fruit someday.

I am heading to bed early again tonight - spending time reading "Through the Gates of Splendor" by Elisabeth Elliott....missionary wife of Jim Elliott.

Bless you all and goodnight.

Oh, that's a GOOD book! We read it together as a family.

LM, are you anxiously awaiting those new jerseys? You should have seen my sister when she read your note...she went straight over to the Sens' site via the Scribblings' link, to read all about it. I haven't turned on sports radio today, and missed my fav. broadcaster's first interview for the season. I hear he's doing the JR Summit Series, whic I know little about it...yes, I used to know ALL about hockey and EVERYTHING that was going on, but now I'm such a casual follower of the sport, I'm more into playing it and evangelizing others who play it!

Can't wait to see the new Sens jerseys - hope they aren't too different 'cause I like the old ones!

I'm not what you'd call a huge hockey fan but I sure do like my Sens!

... He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ...Phil. 1:6

I just had to add that after reading your verse! I love creating scripture collages when I write letters of encouragement, and that just seemed to go with yours!

By the way, I am so lazy I have not looked this up on the net yet, but since you are in OT you can probably answer this...Is this the Lynxs' last season in Ottawa? And if so, when does it end? I know, I am really lazy...

God bless you,
LPP

Julie --- your loved and KEPT by the POWER OF GOD -- RELAX -- ENJOY EACH DAY HE GIVES --- it will all work out -- HE knows U and will give to U the very best - whether it be a mate or purpose -- We know U love HIM , try and not be so hard on yourself -- lonliness is a terrible feeling - GOD will provide and be to U all U will ever need -- remember God's smuggler , Bro. Andrew and how alone he was and God provided -
