COUNTDOWN

Good morning, Pilgrim Pals! The COUNTDOWN has begun. Two more hours until I get disconnected from my intravenous! Wow! What a week! I went to the hospital last night to be re-assessed and they felt I had progressed enough to remove the dreaded hoses. Hallelujah!

I'll continue to take antibiotics orally for another week and hopefully the infection will be eradicated. We're still trying to get an appointment at the Infectious Disease Clinic in Kingston to make sure that the cellulitis leaves for good.

Thanks for your prayers and encouragement, dear friends! God is good!

Much love in Christ,

~ David

DEar David,
I'm so happy for you. Hope you all will have a God blessed rest after your trials.
I'm starting on a pennecillin treatment today for my lungs. I feel a littlr sorry for myself, because then I shall not be able to follow Gunnar and Serina as she enrolls for her new studies in Eastern Norway. On the other hand I am grateful that Serina's heavy medication has worked in a degree that she is able to attend her new school.
For a week we were afraid that she might have to stay home for further treatment for a half year or so.
I will be crying a river when she goes, but I thank the Lord that she is well enough to begin on her adult life.
I also shall miss Gunnar on Sunday, that is our wedding day.
He'll return in the evening though, I have to bake him a cake.
For now, I'm going to bed.
