GOD THINGS

God Things ---
I find it neat when we come across "this" now and then. God Things can be most anything, from a phone call to meeting a certain someone at a certain time. Could be money coming in at just the right time or someone showing up when U need a "lift" just when U could use one the most.
Last week, Friday afternoon around 1:30 , I just happened to be on the front lawn of the bldg. I work in. Just as I got to the front of the bldg, my oldest daughter pulled up in her big van , she had the littlest one in the van. I could see the look of amazement as she pulled up, smiling she got out and I greeted her. How amazing that we should meet , I am hardly ever in front of the bldg., much less at the exact time she pulled up - I walked out of the bldg. and in front exactly as she pulled up -- She was anticipating having to go into the bldg. and page me to find me -- she needed me to go to her house after work and as she was in the area of my work , she came over -- NEAT STUFF --- THIS GOD THING--- the world would call that "lucky" "coincidence" "happenchance" "accident" . We as Christians have His Word, there are no "lucky" events to the child of God - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord . ---- Good Stuff this God Things

I hear "what a coincidence" all the time and I am always quick to smile and say, "You know, I don't believe in co-incidences, I believe in God-incidences." Sometimes I get a look of confusion, sometimes I get an "ah ha!" look, and then I sometimes get an angry look. Makes no difference the look...the important thing is maybe God is causing someone to see Him in a whole new way! :)

I like that -- "God-incidences"

Speaking the "truth" humbly, boldly - but so often we "adopt" the language and tone of the world in our daily conversing

You're so right, Bob...it's all grace....HIS doing....and He's so good to us. Thank you for another encouraging post! That's neat about your daughter finding you in front on the building.
